Cocopeat
Cocopeat, also known as coir pith or simply coir dust is a byproduct gained during extraction of Coir fiber from coconut husk. It is a natural, unique, spongy cellulose organic plant growing medium.
Application of Coco peat
Landscapes, Potting mix, Propagation

Buffered Coco Peat
Buffered Coco Peat is an amazing growing medium for home & lawn garden plants. It is widely used with potted plants at the terrace or balcony garden.
Buffering coco peat is a chemical process consisting of replacing sodium and potassium with calcium, washing away excess waste. Washing of coco peat will remove only water-soluble elements but buffering will remove elements that are naturally bonded to the cation exchange complex of Coco peat.
Application of Buffered Cocopeat:
Used in propagating the starting of seeds and plugs
Used for transplanting for tissue cultured plants
Grow bag
In the grow bags, the plants can be directly planted and grown. The plant holes can be made on the top surface of the bags according to the crops to be raised. The drainage holes may be provided to drain excess water irrigated.
Advantages of using a grow bag.
Easy to expand uniform
Root establishment horizontally
Excellent drainage
Less root diseases as no wet roots anymore
Up to 20% less water consumption compared to stone wool
Saves fertilizers and saves money
Coco Chips
The coconut husk is cut in to random sized portions, which are called coco chips. They are then separated out into three sizes – small, medium and large. Coco chips can be used to replace the bark based growth medium for Orchids and in cut flower production facilities. Small size chips range from 6mm to 13mm, Medium range from 13mm to 25mm and Large range from 25mm to 50mm. Coco chips are easy to loosen up and process. By mixing this, the air filled porosity and capillary characteristics can be increased in the substrate.
Coco Peat Discs
Discs are compressed coir pith made, especially for use in pots. Different sizes of discs are available to suit various pot sizes. Discs are also made with a hole in the middle to facilitate easy planting. Fertilized discs are made as per customer requirements. Disks are made from the coarser particles of coir (>1mm) which gives much better substrate for plant growth.
The nursery seedlings grown on this disc medium can be easily uprooted and transplanted without damaging the root zone i.e. transplantation shock is minimized or avoided.
Coir Mulch Mats
Coir Mulch mat or Coco Mulch mat is also called Coir Weed Controller mat or Tree mat. It is completely made of Coir Fibre. The Coir Fibre is treated with rubber and compressed into mats and comes in desired sizes according to the requirements of the customer.
Coir mulch mats are used in garden beds when the soil warms up in the spring. Garden beds are mulched with coir two to three inch thickness. It reduces the need for watering as much as 45 to 50 percentages, an important concern in drought-prone areas of the country.

It holds water and drains well
It helps moderate moisture levels in the garden
It helps moderate soil temperature
It lasts much longer when compared to other mulch materials
It prevents weed growth by blocking sunlight
It also deters slugs and snails
